Definition: Chlorophyll-a anomalies refer to the variations or
deviations in chlorophyll-a concentration from a long-term average or
baseline condition at a given time and location. These anomalies can be
positive or negative: used to detect anomalies in phytoplankton biomass or
water quality conditions. |
